Step 2: Print Your Printables!
All the pages in this kit are meant to be printed single sided. Some you can get away using regular paper but the invitations, banners and cake topper will be best if printed on cardstock. Don’t have a printer? You can download the pdf onto a memory stick and take it into Staples or your library to print. Easy peasy!
Step 3: DIY Rainbow Birthday Party Ideas – Ideas for throwing a rainbow birthday party that is fun and festive
The great thing about a rainbow party is that any color goes! Decorate your party venue with different coloured ballons, streamers and party plates. Get your guests to be part of the decorations by asking them to dress for a rainbow party (either with rainbows or assign them each a color). The only thing holding you back is your own imagination!

An easy DIY rainbow theme birthday party decorations is this Giant Pom Pom Garland. It is easy to make and it makes a big impact and it is perfect for a rainbow party! It uses skeins of yarn in the colours you desire so feel free to make it your own.
Step 4: Food and drink ideas that will complement the rainbow theme
Nothing could be easier than planning the food around a Rainbow Party. You can go easy peasy and just use our included Rainbow Cake Topper Printable or you can go full RAINBOW.

Some ideas for the latter include, cupcakes with different colored icing on each one or rainbow icing to keep in the rainbow theme. Or maybe a multi-layer rainbow cake? I just love this pastel rainbow layer cake that matches the colors in our printables to a t!

Round out your table with a rainbow of fresh fruits (think red strawberries, oranges, yellow pineapple, green grapes, blueberries, and purple grapes) and glass bowls of rainbow candies like M&Ms or Skittles.
If you decide to use rainbow paper plates, we love these soft rainbow plates. Pair them with white napkins and cutlery and you are DONE!
Step 5: Goody Bag Ideas for a Rainbow Birthday Party
I am a firm believer in less is more when it comes to goody bags! You can make it super easy and give each kid a bag of Skittles or M&Ms and call it a day!

Another great (and small) idea is to give each child a set of coloured pencils. They’re fun and useful!
